Bryan and Nicole’s wedding

Blog / Tuesday, May 27th, 2014

I am as wonderfully exhausted as I should be. The long awaited marriage of Bryan Dickey and Nicole Mysanlich is complete, and was completely wonderful.

The weekend was everything I hoped for insofar as being restful and a lovely time with my kids and Mike and Pap and Maureen. The cabin was more beautiful than we dreamed—the photos they have on the resort site do not do it justice. It’s kind of sad, isn’t it, for a mountain cabin to be a million times more beautiful than your year-round home?  Ha!

Being at their wedding made me really think about how different it is to be at wedding where you truly love the people as compared to when you go to a wedding out of obligation. That’s the next “essay I am going to write.”

Those two have been friends for ten years and have truly found the missing puzzle piece in each other. I believe that you can live with many people on this earth as your significant other, but that there are only one or two that you should !  I have no doubts about Nicole and Bryan.

You will see more about them here, as I wrote about getting ordained and possibly getting to sanction their union, but I need to key it in!  Have I mentioned that you should pay no attention to the dates here?
