The literary scene is a happening, extra especially in Philadelphia. If you know, you know. If you don’t, look here for upcoming and recurring events you could be a part of. And since reading and writing really isn’t all KVM does, you will probably find some other eclectic things to do here, too.

Come out and play on the first Thursday of every month, when Painted Bride Quarterly hosts their famous Slam’s! We start off with a comedian, story-teller or musician, then we play a series of writing games, complete with prizes. Come and write or just enjoy! The fun starts around 7 and ends around 9, but we don’t mind if you come early and stay late!
